Update 2: I’ve done away with the top hat, and the GoProtector, because when it broke, it actually broke my SimplePDB in half, so now I’m flying a stock ZMR:

Are the ESC’s sold individually? And are 4 required? As in, I’m going to build an exact replica of your “green machine 3.0” will the ESC’s total ~$17, or more like ~$68? Also, what do you mean by “Wire Harness”? Is something that is purchased, or is it homemade? And do you have any more specs on said “Wire Harness”?
I’m trying to build my first FPV quad, and I figured I would start with one that works well for someone else, before I modify it to my own liking.
Any other advice would also be greatly appreciated!

      ESCs ARE sold individually.

A minimum of 4 are required, though I recommend buying one extra in case one shows up bad or in case you break one. That way you don’t have to wait for a new one to show up. More like ~$68.

“Wire harness” is just a fancy way of saying “I soldered wires together.” Instead of using a “power distribution board” I used wires that I soldered together. So it’s homemade. This would be a good example: http://blog.oscarliang.net/ctt/uploads/2014/08/power-distribution-wire-with-esc-done-300×183.jpg

Thanks for your interest! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Ok, that looks fairly straight forward, and not too difficult. Thanks!
