I was out of town for a wedding, and I tried to get a quick flight, but I didn’t walk the field first, idiotically, and managed to land in a puddle. (yes I know my PIDs are terrible — I’m still tuning from a switch to LuxFloat) (warning: loud audio)
Flight start: 1:19
First ESC Catches fire: 2:42
Second ESC catches fire: 4:20
I finally find the quad and realized the mistake I’ve made: 5:02
So I’ve gone ahead and ordered some replacement parts. But learn from my mistake — walk the field before you fly, even if you’re in a rush. A very gentle crash lead to a big mistake.
