For a long while, I’ve been using and loving my Xiaomi Yi action camera for taking footage while flying my quad around. I have used a few different mounts, but none of them have been as secure and easy to use as I wanted, so I started working with a friend. We came across a 3d-printed “Layer Lens” which was an awesome start, but it didn’t have a great application for the quadcopter world, because there’s not a great way to mount it. Thus, my friend Bruce had an awesome idea, and flipped the whole thing on its side. The strap then holds the thing down very well.
I’m very excited about this, and I have been flying with it for about a month now, and it’s done an awesome job. It’s easy to use, easy to get access to all the buttons on the camera, and you won’t ever need to purchase another lens protector, because you can make your own plexiglass now.

And the M2 hardware is any 11-12mm m2 screw/nut combo, and any washer that will fit around an m2. I THINK that these are the nut/screw combos that come witht he ZMR frame.
